Overview

The goal of the Practice of Optimizing Ergonomics webinar is to bring awareness of a new practice of scan postures for optimizing the scanning health of the sonographer and increase patient engagement.

Objectives
Upon completion of this course, attendees should be able to:

  1. Describe system centered vs patient centered scanning and how it optimizes healthy sonographer ergonomics
  2. List the most common areas of pain
  3. Identify optimal and suboptimal postures from a set different exam types being performed
  4. Perform stretches to optimize scanning experience.
