1. Explain the etiology, diagnosis and treatment of CVD;
2. Apply best practices to daily patient care;
3. Articulate current guidelines for common CVD and conditions;
4. Examine the continuum of basic, clinical and implementation research;
5. Identify teaching and learning modalities in the academic setting.
