This educational activity will review and analyze the most current developments in clinical practice and relevant research. Experts from across the Great Lakes region will present their analysis of the most recent evidence on the treatment and management of headache disorders, describing developing science, medications, and interventions.

Registration and Cancellation
Preregistrations are accepted online until 5:00 pm (EDT), August 6 for in-person and August 9 for virtual. In case of cancellation, a full refund will be made if cancelled by July 10, 2024. After July 10, a $50 cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund. Written notification of your cancellation is required in order to process your refund.

1. Recognize pediatric headache algorithms and evaluate recent advancements in pediatric headache management.
2. Utilize cognitive-behavioral techniques in clinical practice to effectively address pediatric headache disorders, enhancing patient care outcomes.
3. Establish smooth transition protocols for pediatric patients transitioning to adult care, fostering continuity and improving outcomes.
4. Assess headaches in the elderly population, incorporating scientific advancements into clinical practice.
5. Examine the potential of PACAP as a treatment target for headaches, including its mechanism of action and clinical implications.
6. Analyze and evaluate the safety and effectiveness of data concerning targeted therapies for migraine.
7. Summarize common and uncommon presentations of secondary headache disorders.
