PeerView’s inExchange enduring video activity brings together expert faculty for a concise, 0.5-credit program focused on advancing the diagnosis and treatment of Sjögren’s disease (SjD) in rheumatology and internal medicine practice. In this 0.5 credit hour activity, two (2) leading experts in SjD will explore the evolving understanding of SjD as a systemic, immune-mediated condition and discuss diagnostic and therapeutic advances through case-based dialogue. A patient video will be featured to ground clinical decision-making in real-world experience and highlight the human impact of SjD.

Objectives
As a result of participating in this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Examine the physical, emotional, and functional burdens of Sjögren’s Disease (SjD) on patients’ quality of life to support patient-centered care;
  2. Apply validated diagnostic tools and biomarkers to facilitate early and accurate diagnoses of SjD;
  3. Describe the immunopathogenesis of SjD, emphasizing B-cell involvement and its implications for novel emerging therapeutic strategies.
