The primary goal of this educational activity is to encourage the application of the latest advances in evidence-based medicine to improve the quality of care and improve outcomes for the patients affected by ulcerative colitis.



Objectives
After completing this program, participants should be better able to:

  1. Summarize current recommendations for selecting and assessing therapeutic targets in patients with Crohn’s disease
  2. Describe the evidence regarding clinical, endoscopic, and histological healing in Crohn’s disease
  3. Differentiate current biologic and small therapies used in Crohn’s disease with respect to mechanisms of action, efficacy, and safety
