Overview

This is the second of four modules associated with this activity.

These certified CME interactive case presentations will review recent clinical trial and published data that will support the appropriate management and treatment decisions recommended by the expert faculty in multiple myeloma.

During these interactive case presentations Drs. Joseph Mikhael and Nina Shah will address scenarios focusing on a newly diagnosed patient, early relapse, late relapse and patient requiring maintenance therapy, will be presented and discussed. The activity will be supported by downloadable slides that have the key discussion/teaching points.

Objectives

As a result of participating in this activity, participants should be able to:


  1. Identify updates in the diagnosis and prognostic classification of multiple myeloma to guide initial therapy decisions;
  2. Appraise novel therapeutic approaches for the treatment of relapsed multiple myeloma;
  3. Optimize therapy of diverse patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma to improve outcomes and minimize adverse effect.
