Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience Grand Rounds

In order to receive credit, you must sign-in at conference.

1. Acquire new knowledge about the DSM-5 diagnostic changes;
2. Improve clinicians' ability to assess mentally ill patients across biological, psychological, and social variables;
3. Update clinicians' skills in psychopharmacology and other somatic therapies advances;
4. Broaden clinicians' knowledge about psychotherapeutic modalities;
5. Discuss emerging issues and new research advances in psychiatry;
6. Recognize the multiple biologic and environmental etiologies of psychiatric disorders;
7. Demonstrate familiarity with the primary literature in psychiatry and in interpreting research;
8. Interpret a specific clinical question of interest using the primary literature;
9. Acquire a basic knowledge of research design and statistics in psychiatric research.
