Overview
Creating optimal Doppler waveforms and color images remains an important and sometimes misunderstood task in vascular ultrasound studies.

Objectives
As a result of participating in this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe an optimal PW Doppler waveform and color image.
  2. Use equipment controls appropriately to create optimal Doppler waveforms and color images of blood vessels.
  3. Explain the effect of poor Doppler and color images on the accuracy of the vascular exam.
